wow, holy moly, I remember seeing something similiar at the casino gift shop, horses
covered entirely with little tiny mosaic tiles the size of those beads, I just couldn't
keep my hands off of them and really wanted to buy one, but I didn't. Wonder now if
they are made the same way or even in the same place. Keep your eyes open for little
itty bitty mosaic tiles

Absolutely beautiful bead and thread-works, Carol! The thing I like the most about Mexican art things is the spectacular colors they use! It would be so hard to feel down and morose with all those beautiful colors surrounding you! I am truly thinking about painting the rooms in my house with the bright colors the people who live in MX paint their buildings. I will start with my bathroom and see how well bright water-based paints go over old, drab, dark paneling.

Soos, if you put a primer on the paneling, the colors are just as vibrant as in the can. I've painted paneling before and loos great. What's fun is to paint the indentions a different colors for a little stripping. Have fun. Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread.
