I did get a new trailer. :) That's the one thing I forgot to take pictures of. I'm going out again the first weekend in March & will try to take some then. I LOVE the trailer!!! It kept me warm and toasty, I didn't have to worry about damp tent-ends when packing up yesterday, and it pulls great (thanks to added rear air bags on the Explorer). Thanks for asking.

Jed is obviously doing well. He really had a good time, especially with a 9 month-old Australian Shepherd. They tumbled and played every time they met -- made for some tuckered-out dogs! I'm looking forward to when he's no longer on the phenobarb, though, as his stamina just isn't there. No long walks for us -- he just didn't have it in him. But if that's the only price I have to pay to have him still with me I'll be patient a bit longer.

Barb, I'd never been to Casitas before and will definitely go back. The area is gorgeous, and with all of the recent rain everything is green, green, green!

Pat,, you know the invitation is always open for you to come down and thaw out! I'll even let you sleep with Jed if we go camping! ;)

Your pictures give me hope that warm weather is coming. I just got back Saturday from 2 weeks with my son in New Jersey. While I was there they had 2 big snow storms. I have seen enough snow to last me a long time. It was in the 50's when I got home and I thought about putting shorts on. It is so nice to not be cold all the time.

Jed looks like he is enjoying himself. It's good to see him doing so good.

Laura, that's just not right! I've still got 2+ feet of snow on the ground and it doesn't look like it is going anywhere anytime soon!
