So Phyllis has decided she just can't keep Lulu. Today I brought her into my rig; kept them apart with a divider and just let them smell each other all day. My daughter came over to help me introduce them. We took Lulu and Sassy outside to introduce them. Much tail wagging and Lulu kind of bouncing, trying to play. Then we brought Buddy out by himself and introduced them. He didn't pay much attention at all to her. Then we took all three inside wit hno divider and just let them interact. So far, so good. We'll see how the night goes. Am I going to have to sleep on the sofa so the dogs can have the bed? I'm still trying really hard to find a home for her but will keep her until I can find just the right home. This of course means I will have to have her fixed and checked for heart worms, etc. I really need the extra expense. Right now Sassy and Buddy are on the sofa and Lulu is on the floor next to the sofa. I have managed to resist numerous dogs before Lulu - not sure exactly how she got thru my defenses. She would also make a perfect therapy dog.
