Roadtrek Recall

Postby Pooker » Tue Feb 02, 2010 10:55 am

I just received the following e-mail from Good Sam and thought it might be of interest to some of you gals who either have Roadtreks or are looking to buy one:

"Roadtrek is recalling certain model year 2007-2009 Class B Roadtrek RSAD, SSAD, RSAF and SSAF motorhomes built on Chrysler Sprinter van chassis. The brake line comes in close proximity to the battery and battery tray and can rub against them."

Hope this doesn't affect any of you.

Lots of people have looked at this, but no replies. I don't have a Roadtrek, but thought you deserved thanks for posting this anyway.

Gosh Sparkle, what's come over you? Are you laying the groundwork for some post we're not going to respond to, trying out different personas or what??? Now there are 2 responses. (and that was nice of you, really) I'll mention that we have a Toyota, but thank goodness, not one of the ones that are being recalled. Don't know who or what I can blame if I have an accident  That was good that you posted that, Pooker. You never know. carold

Maybe the Roadtrek owners are all hiding in shame..............if I owned one, I'd be grateful to know!

Hey, guys! It's okay - really - that no one wanted to reply (sob, sob - nobody loves me!). Seriously, I just wanted to get the info out there in case those who do have Roadtreks (and I know there are some) didn't receive notices.

I really don't need recognition, but thanks for caring, Jean. If you aren't careful you will ruin your rep!

Shhhhh! She really doesn't want anyone to know how nice she really is, she wants everyone to believe she's a curmudgeon, Sharon whispers.

Diana -

You were the main person I was thinking of, but I didn't know your rig was too old! It looks like a shiny new penny to me! Welcome back to the California rain festival. Hope you knitted yourself a snazzy pair of those socks because you are going to need them! It was 36* here last night.

Okay, okay, I hear all of you gals out there in snow country. But 36 is COLD for Southern California! And Diana is further north! Brrrrrrr.
