No Thursday coffee???

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Well good grief! Imagine my surprise when I didn't see a coffee post for Thursday and it's 8:24am on the west coast...That just can not be. Has no one else made coffee this morning?

Nothing much going on here today. Well? We will be going into Blythe today to get water, hamburger and to give Shade her bath. Uh oh! Got her all brushed out yesterday and clipped her nails. And yeah I was on her chit list. Gave her a Little Cesar's dinner and even that didn't help. She finally softened up and love her Mom again after I took her to the field and let her run off leash after doing her business. Makes me mad that the last few days that I have been picking up someone elses little poops up there. Grrrrrrr People are suppose to clean up after their own dogs. I could understand it if it was only once? But not the past 3 days in a row. Nasty people.

Well I made a full pot of coffee so that those of you who didn't get their fix can grab a cup of mine. So get your cup in hand, have Hazelnut and Caramel Macchiato creamer to add if your interested! Sit a spell and tell us what all you will be up to today. Hope all have a great day and remembers to stay safe.

Sorry Echo! Didn't get my butt out of that nice warm bed until 7 this morning so had to get moving and get Chewy her walk since the garage door opener guy was coming this morning. Yay! He's here, right on time and working hard to get me back in business! Nice guy, he spent a few minutes admiring Big Bikey, so how could I not like him? Seems he has a Harley Electraglide, too. He promised he would be finished in time for me to go to the line dancing class at the gym. So while he's working I need to get my clothes together for the jeep trip on Sat. Then after the gym I'll go to the grocery store to get what we need for the trip. We'll be gone for 7 days, so need to plan out the menu before I go. It's looking ugly here, supposed to rain tomorrow, but sure loks like we might get it today. Hope everyone has a great day! Wonder where Soos is, she's usually the first one here!

7 days packing on a bike.

clothes- clean panties, bras and socks for everyday then only a couple changes of outer clothes.
food- can take 30days worth, granola and power bars. yum yum

Good morning...almost lunchtime. Had three cups of coffee to get my brain functioning. Kiddos gave me a cold, now turning into a sinus infection. Missed work yesterday, but I'm here today, sharing my lack of patience with anyone who comes near me.

Sharon, how in the world do you pack clothes and food for 7 days on a bike?

This trip is a jeeping trip complete with all the comforts of home in the BF's toy trailer. On the bike I can pack 7 days easy....7 sets of undies, 7 pair socks, 7 shirts, 1 extra pair of jeans, 2 long sleeved white shirts for warm days, 1 bathing suit, long underwear for cold days and toiletries. All of this goes in the side box. I wear leather pants over my jeans which can go in the top box on warm days, light windproof jacket and heavy leather jacket which I just put on the back of the seat if it's to hot to wear it. Food? That's what restaurants are for, my dear! We've been gone 4 weeks with this amount of clothing....most motels have a laundromat. You would be surprised what you can make do with to have a little fun!!

I'm always the first one up, and I sometimes think what I have to say to start the day could become monotonous, and I feel guilty for always opening the kitchen. BUT, I guess if nobody is getting up in time to put the coffee pot on----(I am talking weekdays, now----weekends I am often the last one up!) and you all don't mind if I post my hazy early-morning words and start the coffee, I could do it rather than wait until evening, as I am doing now, to read all other posts and have LATE coffee!

No matter how it's done, I always love coming home from school and reading the posts from you all! I grab a beer and some smoked almonds and sit back and read and read and laugh and laugh, most of the time! Of course, once in a while a few tears come down, too, but, as they say, "Into every life a little rain.....etc.'
