Wednesday's plans

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday's plans

Postby Liz » Wed Feb 03, 2010 8:03 am

Good morning ladies! The rain is gone this morning....may have to drain a couple inches from the pool, we got so much. The next 2 days should be nice before the next rain comes. It's really good for our water table, though.

Not much happening here, so I'm entertaining myself planning a route to the TX gtg in April, and starting to look at routes to take to the PNW in June. I have as much fun planning the scenic routes, historic sites to stop at, possible cgs to stay, as I do actually traveling when the time comes. Sure helps pass the time. Of course nothing is written in stone...spur of the moment decisions can be made, but it's nice to have a plan.

Hope you all enjoy your day. I have just a few errands....haircut, gas, a few groceries for today.

Enjoying my day so far. Also enjoying just opening the back door and letting the pups out to run. Cold enough around here that I really don't want to go out. Ed, the cat, apparently missed me. He is doing everything to stop me from typing and convince me to scratch his ears and pay attention to important things like CAT. purrrrrrr :) I, too, need to make the trip for groceries. I am hoping that it will warm up a little outside if I wait and have some more tea. No trip planning for me for awhile, sigh...... Need to save up some more gas money. I haven't finished entering the $$ cost from the FL trip but I believe I went over just a little... Not too badly though. I am learning more every time I head out. I am going to put on another layer of warm and heat up the tea. Hope everyone had a wonder-ous day! :)

Morning, everyone!

Heading off to G's appointment with his new cardiologist in Paducah this morning. I just recently changed him from Nashville to a group in Paducah because it's so much closer. If he ever has to go in for an overnight or more, it'll be easier for me to handle, with the little beast and all. One time, we were in Nashville for an overnight in the hospital and poor Abby spent over 8 hours in the van...I was exhausted from running back and forth (you know how big some hospitals are) between the van and G's room...I was real glad to get to the hotel room that night! :) The next two times, though, I got to bring the little trailer and overnight there...

Tina, how are Lil' V and Lil' M doing now that they've been grounded? Have you heard any screaming from the drawer where they are residing?

Not a lot going on here, either. It was supposed to start raining today, but it's been put off until Friday. Chewy has a Vet appt., I noticed a spot on her eye. I'm hoping it's nothing serious, but she took a header off my lap a couple of weeks ago. Sam walked into the room and she went flying and landed on her head on a wood floor. She was kind of dizzy for a few minutes, but then she was fine and wanting to chase her toy, so I didn't think anything of it. I want to leave early and stop at Costco for some stuff for our jeep trip and in time to give her a good long brisk walk so hopefully she'll be to tired to give Dr. Z grief. Like that's gonna happen! Won't make it to the gym today, but the people coming tomorrow AM to fix the garage door promised to be done in time for me to go for Thurs. Line dancing class. One of my favorites! Hope everyone has a great day!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Nothing much doing here either. Suppose to rain today? I guess we shall see if it does or not? After all the waterproofing I put on the roof of this screen house if it leaks again I think I will scream! Yahoo says it's 49f right now? Hmm? Why does it always seem cooler than what the weather page says it is?? Today we might go do some laundry out but not sure yet. Not close to running out of clothes yet so no need to worry about running nekkid! What a sight that would be!

Campground was fairly quiet this morning so I was grateful for that. If the neighbor started his diesel up and let it run I sure didn't hear it. If he did I must have had my head buried under the blankets. No barking dogs or loud obnoxious birds this morning either. Ahhhhhh :D ;)

Kelly spent over an hour on the phone with her BFF in Escondido last night. She has no idea that we are so close so no question came up about a visit. When we are ready to head that way in a few weeks she will be in for a shock. Kelly will make plans with the BFF's husband so that "WE" don't get surprised by finding her gone or something!!! They haven't seen each other is so long and it's hard to believe her little boy is now 3. Oh heavens I had better pick up those earplugs and make sure I take a pack of tissues with us!

Ok, coffee is hot and ready. Grab a cup and sit down for a bit. Let us all know what's up in your little section of the world. Hope ya'll have a great day and of course remember to stay safe in all that ya do!

Love to all

Good afternoon ladies. All I seem to be doing lately is clearing snow and ice off vehicles. I tackled the camper today. Don't want the ice up there any longer than necessary. While up there I gave the seals a good going over and they at least seem fine. There was no evidence of a leak from the inside, so I guess all is good. I do wonder about the plastic covers for the vents though. Besides obvious cracks, how does one know they need to be replaced? Do they get cloudy? They aren't clear to begin with. Any ideas, please let me know.

I'm going to warm up and have some lunch. I'm thinking grilled cheese. Have lots of bread and cheese if anyone is interested. Take care, stay safe, warm and dry. Linda
