Getting Ready and Got a Suprise !!!

Getting ready and got a surprise...yeppers.. leveled the motor home ..got my list going .. turned on the frig and the freezer chest .. came back in the house and making a few things to take with us... Robert will be coming with me as I venture over to the campground on Friday.. he'll work half day .. and I was happy to hear that... Went out tonight to load the little freezer...duh......the sucker is not working..nope warmmer than toast... sooooooooo I'll call tomorrow..and see if I can get service if not no biggy.. a big bread box for the weekend..and I'll bring it in on Monday... See always an answer to a bummed out situation.. some bread box LOL... but my frig is working..thank gawd...and I've done put a few things together....
Now..did someone ask about a list... I think I've done mine so many times...I make a master one and just print it out..but for some reason that thingy grows....geeez...

So, that's what I'm up to tonight...figuring what's next...!!

Darn that freezer anyway. But so glad for your sake it's not something that could put a crimp on the weekend - just will probably put a crimp in your pocketbook to get it fixed.

What kind of little freezer ya got Barbz??

I've been looking at them on line as I wouldn't mind getting one for the house. And of course later at some point in time, it could go where ever we go too. hehehehe The fridge here at the house for some reason has a small freezer. Of course trying to buy enough groceries for 4 only every 2 weeks makes for a tight fit some times. It's Kelly's job to put the groceries away after I go buy them. She get soooooo frustrated with me. Actually I should not be allowed to go into the grocery store at all. I always get more than I should. But of course it's not like it goes to waste. Just to the waist!!! It all gets eaten up sooner or later.

Hey Beth... Echo ain't no fool LOL No... it actually was a great unit.. I had it 7 years and bouncing around and even pulled it out and brought it in the house in Florida...used it for the main freezer... I'm hoping it's something simple...or possible could be the compressor.. I'll find out soon enough... but it's a Norcold 100lb capacity..and I did
get my usage..big time.... but sure hope I don't have to buy another one ..not yet...so please all put me on that prayer list...something simple...pleaseeeeeeeeee...

I bought mind from RV dealer, and I see the prices haven't really changed much cepting right now Camping World has it for under 1K..which I paid regular price at the time.. ugh... but you know they say..anything that last 5 years you got a good deal...amazing huh... I got 7 years..now that's 2 plus longer LOL...

I took my front passenger seat out and put it up there...as it was really a great spot for it... and very very convient..being I always went by myself.. and if DH came along he sat usually on the couch or at the table working...and I didn't have to deal with back seat driver routine..cause I couldn't hear him...hahahahaha...

The unit was plugged in both to my auxiliary and electric..in case of power failure it switched over AC/DC liked that..and was pretty quiet..for that type of unit.. ok.. now that's about all I can say cepting if it cost more to repair..well..next year I'll buy another one.. or maybe, all I want for Christmas ...LOL>. works for me...

I looked that up. Nice. There's even a bay slide you can install to allow someone(thing) less frigid to sit up front.

I have a two-bay freezer in my regular fridge and frankly, traveling alone I don't have a need for an additional freezer.

Janice... I use to think that way too... but I have an ice maker in my freezer and it took up a lot of space so.. with this it can be either freezer or frig...and I have to tell you.. Where ever I am I always have company for dinner... all my friends come visit...and low and behold.. no place for good stuff...LOL.. Also.. I don't like to go shopping..so when I go I buy for serveral weeks..sure comes in handy.. OH, and remember my critters eat veggies LOL.. I have lots of reasons why ...and they all added up to me... At least that's what I told my DH... LOL

No seriously... it really came in handy..and I like the fact that it runs AC/DC cause while driving I have it on AC..don't have to run the generator..

Just got off the phone with the RV dearler..he feels it's most likely the compressor..so on my return I'll drop it off and they'll send it out for repairs or if the price winds up cheaper buying another one that's what I'll do... but as for now.. makes a great storage chest
