RABBITS FEBRUARY MONDAY

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

RABBITS FEBRUARY MONDAY

GOOD MORNING TO EVERYBODY!

February already---what on earth happened to January? And I DID remember to shout RABBITS today, for what it might be worth. Last night I fell asleep after bringing in some wood as I crawled into my bed to get warm, and that was all she wrote! When I woke up, it was about 11:00, so I just stayed put!

The temperature is about 10 above zero, so I will just let the wood fire die out for the day----hopefully it will be sunny, and the way this house is oriented, facing south, the sun should shine in this living room all day.

We have a full week today of this new half-year, and a few schedule changes for some of the kids. The kids will like some of them, and hate others of them. My responsibilities will stay about the same. Next week will be a short week, as we have Thursday and Friday and the following Monday off. Winter Carnival events begin next week, too, with the parade being on a week from Saturday. I hope to get to that annual event, and my daughter thinks she will come back here for it, too.

I got some pictures from a friend of mine in TN yesterday, showing her car and house encased in ice! I guess they had quite the ice storm over the weekend! I hope if any of you were in that area that you made out ok----just saw a flash on the news that trees came down all over the place in that vicinity. Any of you girls in that area?

Coffee tastes extra good this morning, so c'mon in and tell us about what's going on in your life. Sorry to say I polished off the last of my 4 pistachio muffins yesterday, so can't offer you any of those!

Have a nice week, everybody, and congratulations to those of you who remembered to say RABBITS for good luck all month!

Happy travels!

Good Monday morning to all of you. No RABBITS! here this morning.

Spent the morning doing bookwork for the church: weekly deposit, bill paying, and filing IRS forms for year-ending 2009. I'm still worried about finding capable hands to turn this all over to when my traveling days begin in the spring. Our aging congregation needs some new blood!

The rest of my day will be routine...laundry, dusting, and floors, if I get to it. Rain expected again this afternoon, so no outside work on my agenda today....but a lot of it awaits my ambition on a nice day.

Hope all of you have something more exciting planned, and I look forward to reading all about it.

Sorry Liz, nothing exciting here. It's drizzling in Sarasota so no tennis this am. Instead took an early walk around the park, then the gym and will eventually get out to do some errands. Planning an April trip to Holland and some surrounding area. Very excited and a river cruise at the end to see the tulips, etc. This came up out of the blue-was once in Amsterdaam on my way to a summer in Israel which was a surprise graduation present from my Mom. Then we are thinking of traveling the Maritimes for our spring/summer/fall trip. We have a new gd due in March, so will be there for that. Hmmm, now that I've been sitting a while, it's hard to get my buns off and running again :D Soos, hope the new schedule eventually works out-kids don't always respond well to change. carold

Good Morning ladies

Of all days to forget the Rabbits, I have to go in for cancer screening tests today. Tests not so bad, the waiting for a full week for results is a bear.

Sun is out today and we are already above freezing. Yea!! I've been hibernating for past several days. We got ice, freezing rain, sleet and snow over the weekend. Five inches of precip for month of Jan. So good to finally see the sun and have some warmth to it. Bed was only place to stay warm over weekend.

Feel as if I've written a check to most of the known world as I just finished up bill paying chore. Had a record high utility bill.

Nothing exciting on my schedule this week. Lots of tasks that need attention, little I really want to work on however. Maybe getting out this afternoon will help stir up some ambition.

Hope you all have a good day - what's left of it, anyway.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Nope, no RABBITS for me this morning. And I so wanted to do that. Very last thing I did last night was give myself a pep-talk reminding me to say RABBITS. Nope, didn't happen. First words out of my mouth were, "Move dog"! She was snugged up tight to my side on top of the blankets and did NOT want to move. But I had to go P!!! So that was the end of the RABBITS for me this morning.

I do believe that it's gonna be a fairly nice day! High of 69f and some clouds, tonight 47f. Gonna be that way tomorrow too but they're saying rain on Wednesday. If it does rain on Wednesday we should be set to go as I have sprayed the crap out of this canopy. If it leaks now? The heck with it. I'll sit in here with my umbrella.

Well coffee is fresh and hot if ya want a cup! Hope ya'll have a great day and please do remember to stay safe!!!

Love to all

Well it's way past morning here, but I was running late this morning. AND forgot the RABBITS! Sheesh! Went to the gym for a Body Blast class. Monday's she works on legs, so needless to say I'm walking around on rubber now. Lost count of the number of squats, lunges and lifts we did, but I'm sure my poor legs remembers every single one of them! Need to do a little cleaning today....Chewy and I are having a visitor at 2PM. Chewy doesn't know it yet, but her world as she knows it is about to change. Chewy starts school today! For those of you that have met her, you know about her "little" attitude problem. Hopefully that is about to change. Her new trainer was trained by one of only 3 people that was trained by Cesar Romero, the Dog Whisperer. I've talked to her extensively, checked her training info and I'm very hopeful that she can help us. Chewy's problem seems to stem from fear, and this is hard to deal with. I've had her since she was born, she's been camping with groups since she was 5 weeks old, and this started when she was about 2. I'm at my wits end. She bit my daughter a couple of weeks ago and she's been around her since she was born. I'm really afraid that she's going to bite someone else, even tho I warn people not to touch. But this behavior is un-acceptable in a dog. Plus, I want her to feel comfortable and stress free in a group situation. It can't be fun for her to always feel afraid. So wish us luck! BF said the trainer had better come armed with a whip and chair. :o Poor Chewy!

Bookkeeping for me today too. And it's still so cold! Didn't get out of mid 30s yesterday. I'm counting down the days to return home to CA and since I'm flying this time I'm getting minimum paperwork together that will be necessary for tax appointment. Hope I don't forget anything important! :D

Rain is predicted for all week, that's ok with me, better to land in rain in Sacramento than tule fog!

My DGD is sick and going to DR this afternoon. She has much chest congestion. I'm alittle worried. Poor little sweetie.

Good luck to Chewy!!! I hope her lesson goes well!!!
