Yep! We are actually getting on the road - the Alfa has been parked here at the house (serving as a Motel 5 for every mouse in Brown County" since last August. We just bought the house here in JUly and spent the better part of the year remodeling, landscaping, etc. etc. so haven't gone anywhere. Speaking of on the road again - have you listened to Cliff Boyds RV songs
http://rvbookstore.com/shop/detail.aspx?p=878&m=2 I had to buy the CD - especially Waltzing through Wal*Mart.
Back to trip. We took the RV over to the RV people to have it checked out and replace some batteries last week. Since I've retired I haven't done much driving - If Bill goes I go, if I go he goes and does the driving. Any way we decided my car need a trip so I drove it following him. Wouldn't you know just as we hit the freeway the heaven opened up. I couldn't even see the motorhome in front of me. Thank goodness I remembered where the windshield wiipers were.
Tomorrow a.m. we will go over to the RV place and take off. Not going far - just about 100 miles south to a little town called Corydon. It was the first capitol of Indiana. A friend of ours is going to be performing there over the weekend.
I hope we have everything we need. Forgot how much we do drag with us. We keep the motorhome stocked with clothes, linens, kitchen ware and bathroom stuff (had to buy toilet paper) but just little things I like along and the cameras, chargers etc. I've made a list in the past so hopefully everything was on it. Will probably redo it when we get back. Any one else make lists?
Going to try going on line with the cell phone so I can keep in touch.
