Happy shopping

Went to K-mart this morning to see if they still had the canopy I wanted? Was real worried that it would be gone after a week. But YEP, there it sat on the shelf! Grabbed that thing, and as it was just outside the door of the layaway, wheeled it in and put it on layaway. Price on the shelf said $150 :o   Now I don't know if it was on sale? If the girl doing the layaway damaged the bar code when she scratched off another sticker that was blocking a couple of numbers? Or what the heck the reason. But it rang up at $60! :o   OMG! Total price was $73. Talk about happy! If only all shopping trips were that good! ;)

Didn't look at K-Mart for a heater tho. (dummies  ) But WalMart is all sold out, none in stock. The guy I talked to said he didn't think they would be getting any back in either. So will have to check back in at K-mart and maybe Ace Hardware. Don't want a big one just a little one to take some of the chill off in the screen house. Hopefully we will find one.

Got almost all our groceries but still have to get hamburger, onions and bread. Will pick that up here in town at Ranch Market. But we are set for eats for the week. Thank goodness for the 12v cooler cause I sure wouldn't want to be buying ice all the time for the other cooler. Maybe somewhere along the line I will find a small used dorm style fridge. That would be great. Plug that little sucker right into the campground electricity. :D

 I will still keep trying to win the Powerball Lottery but then again can't win if'in ya don't buy the tickets. And we haven't been buying any.

Don't ya just love it when you get prices like that. What a deal. I just bought an extra heater for the camper, just in case we loose power with the upcoming storm. Went in the camper to remake the bed and had the heater on for a while. I will work great if needed, had the camper toasty in no time. Linda

Dang wish we could find a small ele space heater. Don't want it for the tents but would really get used in the screen house. Keep our tootsies warm. Warms up nicely in here when I'm cooking but cools off rapidly tho when I'm done and shut off the camp stove. ;)

Echo, I got it at Ace Hardware. Home Depot, Lowe's and Bed Bath and Beyond also have them. I would think a local hardware store would too and don't forget WalMart and K mart. They don't seem to be in short supply here . Last winter I saw them at Walgreens as well. Linda

We've got a small space heater now. Snowball had one that they were gonna take to the consignment shop to get rid of. We bought it. Yay!! It's not tropical in here with it but it is a lot warmer than it could be! Ahhhhh loverly heat.
