Yesterday, Sunday, after all the fur-kids had their walks and breakfasts, and before the wind and rain were due in...The 3 of us climbed into the truck and took off for Savannah and Tybee Island.....Tina took lots of photos in Savannah and we both took some at Ft. Pulaski Nat'l Park and on Tybee Island proper....I will leave the narrative of our adventures in Savannah to Tina and start with our stop at Ft. Pulaski Nat'l Park....We arrived and did a short tour of the visitor's center there, then on to the fort itself....It's a circa 1800s fort with a mote, draw bridge, etc....As we walked into the fort we heard a single bag-piper playing and I just had to find where it was coming from....

Found him on the fort wall....
I just had to get a closer look and listen, so up I climbed...and snapped the next few photos...

By then, Tina and Ernie had caught up with me and as I turned around, Tina was busy snapping photos of the view from the top..

I can't remember if she was taking pictures of the salt marshes or the river/ocean at the time, but she was busy....(more photos of the fort coming from Tina)
Then back to the truck to a neat "eatery" called the Crab Shack...(photos coming from Tina) One of Ernie's favorite places to visit and eat...
And then on to the beach where we saw that even in January with a cold Atlantic ocean, surfers will still surf when someone calls "Surf's UP!"

And folks with kids will still search for sea-shells even if the wind is blowing...

Tina has more photos of the beach and then of the Tybee Island Lighthouse....
So, I'll end my entry to the GA GTG Adventure....
We had a grand time and so enjoyed Tina's company....
