Visit at Ft Stewart with Spinner

Lori was able to find a way for me to stay in the campground they are Hosts for. It is beautiful with tall pines and very quiet. While the PB is taking it's time with pictures of today's adventures , Herschel wanted to share just a few pictures from his visit here at the pond. Ernie, the Sultan, now called Doc when in GA, told us about the nice walking path past all the campsites, through the empty field and into the woods....as long as we didn't go TOO far. We did get to see National Guard troops out practicing marching down long GA roadways. Remi wants to be sure that Sarah notices how well behaved he is OFF lead again! :) Izzy, well, she is staying on lead till she leaves for college......

'Lil M and 'Lil V came over to meet Lori and join us at the table.

Lori made four desserts. The Twins were going to have to share theirs.

Mr Spinner found the young ladies quite well behaved. They both thought he was soooo handsome!

Glad you got PB to cooperate enough to share those nice pics. Looks like a nice walking trail.

Spinner looks so proud to show off the twins. And I notice Lori has the same china pattern as me.

 Yep, Donna, it IS Creme Bru le!! Ernie has decided that it is now his favorite dessert, too!! Not "home-made" but a nice mix we found at the commissary here from France....I have photos from our trip Tybee Island.....Tina took the photos of Savannah, as I left the camera in the truck... but will post them tomorrow....(waiting for Tina to post her's first to complement her story of her visit... ;) ) It's been so nice to have her here to visit.....and the fur-babies got along very well....Spinner thinks they all should visit him again when we get to PA.....then they all can swim without fear of running into any GATORS....

Oh meant to say I think Spinner is quite the lil cutie pie ;)

You'll have to let me know what the mix is you buy. I always order this when I am away on govt travel....especially tasty with fresh raspberries YUM.

Swimming without fear of gators -- a GOOD thing! ;)

Good Herschel with the pics. Remi, you did good too, being off leash, Izzy girl is gonna have to learn little girls can't go running through the woods or beaches! Lori and Ernie must be so proud of how handsome Spinner looked with Lil' V and that other Lil' Thang.

Ahhhh I remember those beautiful long needle pines,... my son was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield which is attached to Ft.Stewart. I love those southern pines.

It's so nice that you could gtg,... and the dessert looks yummy, Lori!

Thanks for the tour. Yes, I noted how brave and well behaved Remi is doing with off leash opportunity. Also that he still stays near Herschel.
That desert looks yummy!

Oooh, oooh, oooh - so glad you got to visit with Lori and Ernie at Ft Stewart. I did twice and know why they went back again - so peaceful there. Glad you enjoyed your visit - and Lori, I'm remembering that dessert - for next time I visit you!

Cream Brule is my favorite dessert. You will have to post the name of the mix so we can look for it. Ben and Jerry have a Cream Brule ice cream and the only store I can find that carries it is Target. Our Wal-Mart use to carry it but not anymore.

Spinner looks like a nice dog. He reminds me of the kind my Grandfather had. There were several over the years and they were all named Putch. My sister was calling one of their dogs Pooch and her grand daughter thought she was saying Hooch so the dog has a new name.

Glad all the furbabies got along. Remi is certainly growing up and minding his big brother. Herschel is doing a fine job of raising Lil V and M, and that they behaved themselves while in Spinner's care. Cudos to you H. Seems like a nice gtg. Thanks for sharing. Linda

Hi Tina, Lori and Doc,

So nice to see the pictures and know that you are all together again with your fur children. Cute, cute dogs and sophisticated Hershel. Wish I were there with you.

Looks like a nice visit, and yes, creme brulee is one of my faves, too! Last time I had it was on a cruise and made an oink out of myself! Remi is doing so well!! The twins seem much more behaved than mine....how did you do it? They're pretty po'd right now, stuck in Hope and haven't been anywhere. Cousin Mitt and S are pretty happy staying in one spot for a while, said they had had all of the traveling they could stand, 'specially after a couple of rides in Peewee.

That Spinner is sure a cutie!
