My Apology

Postby mitch5252 » Sat Jan 23, 2010 1:47 pm

..

I need to apologize to each and every woman on this forum for my part in yesterday's fiasco.
I let my button(s) get pushed, which should never have happened.
I hope you all can accept my sincerest apology, and that the forum can get back to business as usual.

No need to apologize - we've always welcomed honest opinion but have tried really hard to keep this forum "fun". I, too, let my buttons get pushed.

Mitch...no apology needed...I too let my buttons be pushed & chose to ignore the PM that I received...I'd rather enjoy the 'positives' of this forum & ignore the 'negatives'...It simply doesn't make sense to lose the fellowship that comes from this group over different beliefs & opinions....let's move on.............

Get over it, Mitch! It appears that we all have! And no sulking in the dark corners allowed! :)

We are humans, and are entitled to lose our cool now and then. How would we know otherwise with no comparisons??

Hey Mitch, I for one appreciated some of your comments and I don't see a need to apologize. I think all that just proves why we need to stay away from those kind of topics. Everyone just wants to have fun.

no need to apologize, we all have our opinions and some people do get
passionate about their opinions, its what makes us all different. Can you
imagine a world without opinions? It would certainly be a boring society
for sure. :P

I don't see a need for anyone to apologize - we are all human - at least I sure hope we are! And as we all discovered, religion (and politics) are the 2 most volatile subjects and not allowed on many forums because of it.

I will apologize also for how my post may have come off. I was not saying anyone should not believe in their own religion - just that we need to be careful when and how we post about our beliefs (as sure can be seen now!). And in the case of Chris' thread - I really had nothing against it - as you knew what it would be about (at least somewhat) from the title - and it would be very easy to just not read it if it would push buttons. But we women are nosy and read EVERYTHING - and therefore let our buttons get pushed - and then respond.

As seems to be happening everyone is coming to their senses all on their own- and I hope that Chris can decide she doesn't need to leave, but that is her personal decision.
