Great pics!!!

Altho I didn't use to know what the heck a bucket list was? A swamp tour has been one of my wishes, want to do things for a very long time. Was telling Kelly that when I had been in Mississippi & Louisiana before with the big truck that they have their own kind of full timers that live on boats. Saw a whole lot of them tied up under bridges. Was gonna ask Vickie about them and then forgot.

As to the dog? I probably would have tucked that little bugger fight inside my shirt and taken it home with me. Could have been a playmate for Shade! :D So very glad that ya'll help the poor little thing out.

Here are a few pix of the little dog. Tina almost took him, she gave it too much time thinking about it. We all realized we just couldn't do it. We all wanted him. In these pix Mary Lou was keeping him from running away until it was decided what could be done.

It was a fun day and I'm so glad that Tina stopped by to spend a few days with me. It's always good to have someone to share the ahahs and the ooohs.

So glad the pup was rescued.
Thanks for the tour. The swamp sure looks different from that entrance. I was there many years ago; went in thru the north Waycross entrance. Large cypress forrest with knees jutting out of the water. The water was red, actually more of a mahogany color, leeched from the trees. Beautiful no matter which way you go.

The tour guide did say that entrance was different because of the trees. Yes, the brown, dark color is from the tannins leeching out of the roots, trees, etc. and I've read they are good for you. You wuld have enjoyed the trip.

On my blog, http://sunshinecruisertn.blogspot.com is a slideshow of our trip.
