Thanks for the great bluegrass concert this morning, Chris! I had my coffee listening to those groups! It makes me so anxious to get camping and see our own north country bands in real life. GREAT quality sound and video on those clips!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Great post, Chris..... and you saw Audie Blaylock and Larry Stephenson..... very cool! Two of the best.

I'm counting the days until the "kickoff" festival here. Bonnie Castle in Alexandria Bay, NY is a resort that turns the whole hotel over to the 1000 Island Bluegrass Assoc. for the weekend. This year it's the last weekend in March. Bands will be Beartracks ( http://www.beartracksband.com/ ), Dave Nichols and Spare Change, ( http://www.myspace.com/davidnicholssparechange ), and Acoustic Blue ( http://www.acousticblueonline.com/ ). All favorites of mine. Jammin' goes on all over the hotel, in guest rooms and conference rooms. And of course the resort is on the St.Lawerence River right across from Boldt Castle. Lots of fun,...

Looks like you had a wonderful time! Thanks for putting up those videos!
