Heaven, I'm in heaven...tra la la la. We may stay here until the end of the month. 80 pesos a day, about $6.00. If you look to the right of this photo you'll see our rigs.
Dolphins, about 50 total play in the bay every morning. Kayakers went out and the dolphins looked as if they were playing with them.
Met up with a couple from a previous campground. Ray and Chris, they are English, but live in Canada. Yep, Margies still good. We are meeting them on Saturday at the restaurant where they have a DJ.
We got here fairly early in the season and got good spots, but since then the Caravans have been pouring in. They only stay a couple of days and then move on. Frankly, it's my idea of a nightmare vacation. They pay about $4000 to be in the group and the guy Beth was talking to was amazed we were doing this on our own and that it only cost 80 pesos to stay at this campground! He said, Oh you must have done this before and when we said no, two single ladies, never been here before, his jaw dropped. There was a total of 19 RV's in this group. They split into two. They were supposed to leave at 8.00am and when Beth and I left to go into town after 9.00 they were still sitting there. I truly believe its the tour operators that put out the horror stories. Beth and I have had NO problems. The Mexicans are as sweet and helpful a people as you could ever want to meet. And our only problem with the Federales? They want to know about the photos on our walls and the States we have been to. Can't get moving on for them chatting to us. One asked if Bogie would bite, when I said yes, probably, he had a big grin on his face.
Is there any way to get this fur coat off?
Lordy, this running on the beach gets to me!
