I will be leaving for San Diego tomorrow (Wed).
I will be gone for a week...so will not get online...no computer at Grandpa's place...which I think is where I will be..as that is where my mom is. Not sure through.

Have a good trip, Kris. Escondido is a beautiful place - I believe Donna lives there. He was indeed a hero.

Kris, I'm sorry for your loss. He WAS a hero, to his nation, his community and to his family. Rest in Peace.

Your grandpa was a true American hero, and may you all share tons of happy memories and stories of his life while you are together. Safe travels, and sympathy to all of you for your loss.

Thank you for sharing about him. Yes, a hero for sure.
Praying traveling mercies for you and also will keep your DH and kids prayed up as they spend a week without Mom.

Kris, sooooooo soooooooooooooo sad to hear of your loss. Will keep you and your family in my prayers for strength and reassurance his life here may be at an end, but is being renewed on the other side with loved ones gone before.

Yes, as Chris said, I live in Esco...if you need anything while here; let me know. I'm off work Fri-Mon. Only have major plans on Sat and then church on Sun a.m., but if you need a diversion let me know :)
