Guerrero Negro

Drove to Gro Negro. We stopped at an RV place to get directions, they had a lovely restaurant, they also offer Whale Watching Tours. They were honest enough to admit it was too early, although later we saw some people going out on a tour with another outfit. We will do that on our way back. We stopped in town to see if I could find an Auto-Electrico Mechanico, because I seem to have a loose wire in my hitch (not the damned HITCH again!) Got directions, but never could find the place. We also got directions to the bank. I think their idea of five blocks, is different from my idea of five blocks. We seemed to walk for miles before we got to it, and then had to walk back, but at least we got to see a lot of the town that way. We drove on to Vizcaino. We are in Baja Sur now and the weather is just gorgeous. Can't wait to get to the Beach. However we are in a lovely little Hotel and RV Park, just four spaces, although they are expanding. We have water, electric and free wi-fi all for 75 pesos, about 6.00 dollars. Lovely clean tiled bathroom with loads of hot water. We had Margies at the restaurant here last night and I couldn't sleep for the darned ringing in my ears! This is the RV park and Hotel.

The inside wall is painted with what I think are copies of ancient cave paintings that we will be visiting in the near future.

Some of the hotel, we would call Motel rooms.

We are parked right next to an orange grove. We can pick all we want, but they are really sour. As my old Scottish Father used to say...Aye, thems wid draw yer arse to your elbow! Now if you try that gesture, you will see just how sour they really were!

We had lunch at the restaurant and then sat outside on the Patio to do some Internet work. Beth can pick it up in her rig, but I can't. We are only going to travel about 30 miles today to San Ignacio.

Me too---me too! So what do you all do for that obnoxious, annoying, nonstop noise in your head?

Sparkle, I'm gonna have to stop reading your posts ... or start wearing diapers! Your quote from your Scottish father nearly did me in.
