That's a good job they did, Christine, it matches! Have you thought of a way to keep it stable while on the road or do you think it will stay closed and in place when it has things in it?

I will just put a small tension bar across the front.. that should hold it fine... there is a very small lip on the front of the facing.. so that will also help...

don't the drawers open w/ gravity? I know I had that trouble the last time I had plastic shelves in my rv. ;)

That shelf looks really great. I would tend to just turn those shelves sideways facing the wall for travel, plus the tension bar. I relocate / rearrange WHOLE bunches of stuff in preparation for the road. Trash cans go in the loo. Many things are propped between the bed and the wall. Chairs of my dinette strapped and padded with kitchen towels. And on and on.

very handy indeed, drawers always make storing stuff out of sight much nicer.

Nice renovation. if the tension rod goes up and down in front of the drawer it is a one stop shop and takes care of the whole thing as well as the drawers sliding open during travel. Always good to add storage!

Wow, that changed the looks of that corner and really opened it up. I can see how it would feel less closed in. Nice job and hope you enjoy the change. Thanks for sharing!

Nice use of space! I made velcro fasteners for my plastic drawers to keep them from flying open, but the tension rod idea is even better for what you have.

I have the same drawers in the bed over the cab in my C - never have lost them. Once or twice I've had a drawer open a couple inches, that's it. And that hasn't happened in forever.

Great job on using that space up there.
