This is NOT what I came to FL for!! Good grief I could have gotten this in TN!!!


And that is Kelly huddled under a sleeping bag. Under her chin is Shade wrapped up in her blue and white fleece blankie cause she was shivering!


Pitiful! Daughter freezing in FL and long haired Pomeranian shivering.

This morning I didn't even dare try to make coffee in my coffeepot as the poor thing was so frosted up it had hoar frost on the pot!!!! By time I crawled out of the tent at 8am and got in the Blazer it was 22f. BRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Tarp we had over the picnic table. As for snow? It was more ice crystals than true snow. But which ever??? It don't belong in FL.

Brrrrrrr Echo, is RIGHT. I don't know how yall stand it in those tents in the freezing cold. I believe I'd have to wear a diaper, don't think I'd get up and run to the bathrooms in that weather, I'd never make it, LOL.

Echo.... i see you have the opening for running a cord into the tent,... did you have an electric heater in there with you? Could have also had a second screenhouse with sides over the table and had a heater in there.. Friend of mine from Maine has that kind of setup for camping in cooler weather. I don't think I'd have tried to go in those conditions without a rig,.... oh my aching old bones in that cold! Hope you two don't get sick.

What troopers...snow in FL....and in a tent no less....yikes! Will be some great stories to tell for years to come.
