Bahia de los Angeles

Another beautiful drive on almost empty roads. Our first glimpse of Bahia de los Angeles was breathtaking. This is the Sea of Cortez.

We each have a Palapa. View from inside looking out. I didn't take enough photos. I'll add to this next time.

Just gorgeous, Jean! Has it warmed up any?

I'm staring and staring, but it's not getting any warmer here. It was a beautiful sunny day though, just like where you are, if you just look at the sky.

AMAZING beauty! I really believe I could enjoy that spot, in spite of its being in another country!

Thanks for the great pictures!

Also glad you got that hitch problem fixed! That could be very scary!

Hi guys, always glad to hear from you and look at your pictures. Beautiful isn't it. Now do you have to go back the same road to continue on down into Baja Sur?
So glad your hitch problem got fixed. That is one of the great things about Mexico - People can do things with their minds and hands instead of a computer.
Is Baja hurting as much as the mainland with lack of tourists? Here tourism is down 40% from last year. Taking a big hit on people.

Bahia is an option to return to. We found a neat boondocking spot, may cost a few pesos, but cheaper than what we had. I'm not sure if tourism is down or not. Nothing to base it on. Beth said that someone she spoke to said they were only taking two tours down here this year when they normally do two. I know the roads are empty, and most of the campgrounds, but everybody says its still early in the season.

Two last photos. This could be your house.

And this would be your view.
