Oh, I'm so feeling sorry for myself..... I so much wish I was there with ya' all....but got a full campground here So will sit here enjoying the GTG thru the photos.....Oh, and Cedar, did the wash today and found $2.28 in Ernie's pockets....so am throwing it into the Bail Fund.... Let me know if the gang end up in the "Pokie" as I can get the MPs here to help out in springing them.... but we may have to feed the MPs afterwards.....

The campground is quiet again but I will let others fill in the blanks....just know that so far we are all accounted for...for now Herschel spent the morning walking the Swamp Trail. He and Remi had fun. Herschel didn't think the Izzy pup could be trusted walking on Boardwalks that near WATER, because she really really loves to swim and he KNEW she wouldn't stop to read the signs!



Remi keep asking Herschel where the 'gators where...he couldn't see them.....are they on the left or the right?

Herschel also has to read this sign for the Remi..... but the only thing any of us saw were a few deer that quietly exited back into the palmetto fonds at the sound of the mighty Herschel and Remi walking down the trail.


The trail was very nice walking.....



The the river was beautiful...you could see the bright clear blue of the springs coming up.





From lunch on it was down hill if you were a dog. The humans gathered in Carol's rig and played cards....guesses can be made as to how many people can fit in one small class C....even if only four are actually playing cards ????????

For dinner we moved to Carolyn's larger rig for an opportunity to finish up the left over chilly and other good stuff from last night...oh, and to get into a warm, dry place. We had Liz call earlier in the day to see if a cabin might also be available for tonight but they were full....as it worked out Carolyn's place was just fine...well at least for us.. The general opinion here regarding the weather generally is effected by were we traveled from....those of us that are hearing weather reports from "HOME" find these temps tolerable by comparison....those from FL find the temps more chilling.......

Herschel, you sure do a good job looking out for Izzy and Remi and keeping them out of harm. Tell your human thanks for taking pictures of you handsome guys for us.

Let me tell you, taking a ride to Wally world with Carolyn is an experience, then last night happened, but will let others post pictures to explain. Keep that bail money building up, we might be calling for it.

Friday’s Frolics

A group of us started out to hike the River Trail in a light mist.



Even Kathleen braved it on her trike for awhile until the sand got too deep.


By the time we reached the river, it was no longer just a mist.


Steamy river.

Tina & dogs also hiked, but a different trail…she’ll have pics of that, I’m sure.

To get out of the rain, we gathered at Carolinagal’s class C for cards and chortles.


The game took a long time between stories and laughs.


In the evening we all moved to Carolyn’s Class A for shared dinner, and?


Carolyn and Sedona entertained us with a flamingo fashion show.



Things went downhill from there.


Uh, oh….sirens in the camp

Kelly and Echo got in Thursday evening in time for some chilly - food that is..... We are waiting for the cabin to get cleaned and for them to give us a call..... Several have offered to ferry the car'less among us over with our food and "stuff". Hopefully there will be even more pictures of frolic this evening......
