Te Bailey's Therapy could have helped you cope with the yelling, but I'll guess alcohol breath would be frowned upon? (I'm assuming you're at work...). I know I sure as heck would be very, very afraid if a drunk came at my hair (both of 'em that are left) with super sharp scissors...

Anyone ever try making their own Irish Creme? I've seen several recipes....always afraid to give it a try.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

I have, many times. Never was as good as the real thing. Now, Kahlua on the other hand - can't tell the difference!

I make homemade wine...does that count? Remember the old Riunite commercial..."We serve no wine before it's time?"
My friends always said "Pat serves no wine before it's time...this was made on Tuesday!"

That wouldn't be good for either one of us! Altho, I have had customers come in after having cut their own hair while drunk. Not pretty and not an easy fix!
I also had a guy come in drunk for a haircut and he kept falling out of the chair! (There was a bar next door).

Need a good fire as the sun sets here tonight---sure do wish I had someone to sit around an outside fire with, although it would be VERY cold on the side of the body away from the fire!

Here are some sunset pics I just took, as the day winds up at about 3 below zero. The high for today was +6 here!

Back field as sun sets.

Sun setting over field where campers are parked at the ADK GTG in the summers!

Telescopic view of sun setting on distant mountains tonight.

Old trailer with last rays of sun this day, Saturday January 9, 2010.

Got some dry firewood, and some recipe to share for those who wish to sit around a warm fire!
Sure hope you all are having a warm night somewhere! My Habub for tonight is Silk Very Vanilla soy milk, rum, and nutmeg! My version of cholesterol-free eggnog!

Pull up a stump, throw another log on that fire, and let's sing!

Can ya at least tell the main alcoholic ingredient? Say, 150 proof rum?

Can't divulge.... actually I don't know what the "recipe" has in it. It's Soosie's concoction. Smoother than silk with the kick of a bull moose! Soos keeps the recipe for the "recipe" a secret. That's ok as long as I get a few sips every summer!

winding down from my busy day, feels good to finally get to sit and do nothing!
Put the swamp cooler back in storage, that involved taking off the side panel
of my storage unit under my front part of my 5th. Got a few other things stored
away in there that I don't need now but will someday. Then of course I had to
put the panel back on. Fixed the front fence and gate and will need to replace
some of the wood as its getting a little bit of warp to it. Dog towels got washed
and dried and put away. Went through a few boxes and threw a few items away.
Dug out my other two tubs of yarn and went through those, plus I pulled out the
yarn from under the bed. Forgot I had some of it, and now I'm going to have to
organize the tubs into baby yarns, sport yarns and other yarns. I learned a new
crochet technique, actually a couple new ones and can hardly wait to make something
with the new technique. Will be awhile though as I've started a new afghan to work
on during my down time at work.
Had a friend stop by cause he wanted me to run an ad on craigslist for him. He has
no computer so I posted the ad for him and put his phone # on it. The dogs were
thrilled to have company, Bandit was always quite fond of him.
Now it would certainly be nice to have a nightcap but sadly there isn't a drop of hooch
anywhere in here. I think I should do something about that just for moments like this.
Off to jump in the tub, put on some fresh jammies and watch a little tv in bed before I
drift off.
Will stir the fire real good and add another log before I go.
Somewhere with Ava and Maggie

Soos, while I don't envy you the COLD!!!!, I love the sunset pictures.

Anyone ever had Bailey's Irish Cream chocolates? I bought a huge jar of them in Algodones last month and finally finished them. It was hard not to eat them all at one time they were so good.

I have had them before. They are pretty good, but like the stuff in the bottle better :D It comes in different flavors now; carmel and mint. The carmel is very good. Now just have to try the mint!
