First, the saga of my hitch. When I got to Campo 5 I was going to unhitch, but my electric jack was dead. We had that problem before and Beth found a loose connection so we thought we had nothing else to do but....however, the jack came down about 2 inches and stopped. So we gave up on that and I thought, I'll think about that tomorrow. So it wasn't until this morning that I really got going on trying to figure out what was wrong and to my horror I saw that I had lost one of my Equalizer Bars. The chain is hanging, it should be welded to the bar! Soooo, I can't take the other one off to show AutoZone, yes there is one in Ensenada, because I can't get my hitch down. Also I bought it over the Internet, I have no idea where to get a set. The owner of the campground says I may have to get one made, but I can't get the other one off to get a copy made until my hitch is fixed.....I think I may have lost it, and a stabilizer getting out of the Rancho Mordo Sudo campground. oh well, I'll think about that tomorrow.
Christmas Day...I had taken a photo of Cual (sp) and printed it out, so I gave the owners that and Beth gave them some more of her home made fudge. That stuff comes in so handy, plus it tasted good. Today they owner took us into Cantu in his car, we will get the bus back. I took a photo of the whole family in front of their Christmas tree and also one of their daughter dressed ina princess dress. Printed them out, the family in a full page sprea. They were SO happy! It doesn't take much and gave me a lot of pleasure for being able to do that. So anyway onto Bufasora.
Bufadora is a famous blowhole. Bus tours go there and many Mexicans visit too. It is only a mile from us so we walked. The road goes along the ocean, so we kept stopping to take photos. Again, a beautiful setting for a town. At the bottom of the picture it looks like a line of shacks, but it is actually a long street of tourist trap shops. However the venders are so much fun. Non Profit store, they yell. We don't need anything we reply. Buy something you don't need, they call back. All done with big smiles.

The vender gauntel you have to run. We did buy Churros though. Delicious!

Hard to explain, harder to photograph. The Pacific waves come pouinding in. Here they have somewhere to go, but at the blowhole they don't, so the water can spray up to 75 feet, depending on the tide.

A beginning spray. Beth may have some better ones as she stood for ages waiting for a big one.

Each time it blew there was a rainbow.

Great pictures. Have you asked the owners about someone they know to fix/replace your hitch problem? No people are better at making do and fixing things than the Mexican people. I really envy you guys with your travels and adventures. I'm soooooo tired of staying in one place, can hardly wait to leave for Florida on Jan 3rd. I bought this RV to travel not stay in one place. I'll be your shell collection is growing by leaps and bounds.

Hey Sparkle, Why not price a new Weight Distri Hitch down there? Now I made the assumption that 'equalizer bars' were actually a weight distr hitch. I think I did that because of the size of your rig. Some where, there is probably one available. Auto Zone may have a full WDH that they could install for you. If that isn't possible, could someone buy and ship one to you? Does your hitch have anything on it to ID it? Can you photo it and see if someone can get an ID for you? You will need more than a sway bar especially with roads in questionable condition.

Good luck getting that fixed before you take off. And don't drive without that as you could have a really bad "ah ship' if it get's away from you.

Best of good travels and mucho good luck. Start thinking Happy New Year!!
