Mini gtg at Jenny and Dan's

What a great afternoon/evening today. I've got some pics uploaded to my blog - Jenny and Dan's. I'm sure that Jean or Chris or Jenny will be uploading something here.

Jenny is the hostess with the mostest. (Dan is no slouch, either!) It was wonderful meeting Sheila and Alice and I was happy to see Chris again - and will be a ball traveling with her. Unfortunately, Sheila's hubby wasn't able to make it. He's still needing some r&r so stayed home and Sheila made the drive alone. So glad she came. I'm sure Dan is disappointed that he had to handle all us women alone. There wasn't a moment of silence in that casita at all today! Ernie, you best watch out - Dan may be gathering his own harem

Who, me? Would I ever do something to your head?

I took pictures inside the casita, but most of them turned out kind of weird. The ones of all of us together are so much better.
I'd seen Jenny and Dan several times before, but had never seen where they live or their marvelous casita.My friend Charles and I went to Algodones with them a couple of years ago and Jenny found the sun for the top of the casita. I'd never met Sheila or Alice, so it was wonderful to finally put faces to names. The spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, wine, and dessert tasted great.

Beautiful weather here in Yuma right now - a little breezy and cool but no rain or clouds. I'm practicing my manana (tomorrow) attitude for Baja. Need to replace the buttons on a shirt, but have got all day for that.

It's too dang quiet now!!
Ya'll missed the plane going over the Barry Goldwater area South of us dropping something with flares. One time they dropped 8 in a row and it looked cool! I could not get my camera fast enough!
Chris , Jean & Beth you are missed.....and I miss Peaches the most lol...she made me walk and get my exercise!
