RV names

VickieP mentioned in a post that I get to pick out a name for my RV when I get it. Do you all have names for your RV's? I would love to hear what they are and how you came up with the name? Do you put the name on the outside of the RV someplace? I once owned a boat and named it "The Girl Next Door" (there is a story behind that) and had it displayed on the back of my boat. That just sounds too fun!!

I don't know as any of us post the rig's name anywhere on the rig itself, but I may be wrong.
I call my 22ft MH (motorhome), Little Missy. It just popped in my head and sorta stuck. Kinda boring, huh?

My 2004 Chalet a-frame was "Little Girl" for obvious reasons,.... she was really little! So this past July along comes my 2010 Rockwood,... called her LG2 (Little Girl #2). Because of her untimely demise I have decided no more "little girls"..... I think my new 2010 Rockwood will be "Sweetie Girl".... that name just keeps coming into my head when I think about her. Of course that's on the expectation that she will be a Sweetie! I have never put the name on the camper itself.

Our house is known as The Blue Marlin Resort (which evolved as a joke, but now sports mugs, plates, and t-shirts).
So, the trailer just had to be The Mobile Marlin, MM for short.

My RV is Gertrude the Gulfstream, my GPS is Golly Garmin(when I'm not mad at her) and I'm thinking my new red, red car will be Lucy after Lucille Ball.

My MH is Somewhere (her name is on the front & back, thanks to a retirement gift from a friend) after it's 5 o'clock Somewhere. Toad is the Grey Goose. GPS is Stella and my furbaby is Sedona. Think I got enough names to remember???

My girlfriend named her GPS "Helen". Then one day when Helen got mad at her for not turning where she was suppose to, her name became "Yellin' Helen"!

PS> I guess I will have to come up with a name for my GPS in the RV, too! More things to remember!

I've never named my rig or any of my vehicles. How boring, eh? Love the names others give theirs tho - and maybe someday I'll decide mine needs one. Good luck with naming yours if you decide to!

RV is named Hope, as in Hope I can drive her, Hope I like her, Hope she likes me and Hope she doesn't break down!! GPS doesn't have a name, I usually just tell it to shut the he77 up! LOL! TV is a Jeep Liberty so just call him jip-jip, but he's been so good I really need to re-name him. It's just that he's such an ugly color of green never could come up with a name for him. And then of course there's Chewy the Chi and Sam the cat.

We haven't figured out a name for our ToyHauler yet, I'm open for suggestions, though. Hmmm, maybe after our excursion on the way back from FL it could be something like the Enterprise, gone where no ToyHauler has gone before! Like others, our TomTom is called Tomasina.

My Tom Tom GPS is called "Mr. Man."

No name for my trailer yet. I have a 4-wheel drive vehicle I call "The Kicker" as it's a Suzuki Sidekick.

I am wondering why more than one of you call your GPSs Tomasina? There is two or three of you.
