I'm Fernie and I'm from Tennessee. I am a transplant though and was born and raised in Central Illinois. I moved to Tn. with my job in "92. I love the mountains and waterfalls in Tennessee. I probably will be spending winters in Apache Junction, Az. I'm retired from Bridgestone/Firestone and don't know how I ever had time to work!!!

Hi Fernie, glad to see you made the trip. My sister is in Apache Junction at Superstition Sunrise park. I just love it there. I plan to visit sometime early next January. Perhaps we could meet up!

Hi ya Fernie, you must let me know when you get into AJ, its in my area and I have
friends there in a park as well, its a nice place to park for awhile and if it wasn't so
far from my work I'd be out there too.
