Janet, God has a purpose for all His creations. Perhaps the thorny plants are there to protect little creatures that are defenseless against their predators?

Based on your pictures, Sparkle, when you've seen one you have not seen them all...they are so unique and interesting. I would love it there....I'm not a shopper.

I really enjoy seeing the cactus and when they bloom they are so pretty the octatillo can't reach my book to spell it right!! they are so pretty then there is that cactus that looks like a stick is a night bloomer (Jenny has one) so pretty from the pictures I've seen of them...and the one that blooms only once then dies... they are so totally amazing... I find this nation so diverse we are so blessed with what we have
and I have to wonder why ??? mosquito's ???
