Went to the pier in Kino Viejo (old Kino) yesterday aft and watched the vendor fixing seafood cocktails - The girl would open the big shells, clean out all the unwanted stuff and just leave the scallop.
Then she would flush it with water until it look clean. Then chop the scallop into pieces right in the shell half. Then she opened a clam and cleaned it then chopped it and added it to the big shell.
Lots of lime juice and some other stuff and of course hot sauce.
Not my cup of tea - but people were gobbling them up.
Driving into Kino Nuevo (new Kino) we are staying at the very end - way around the corner.
Went over to the boat ramp to watch the sunset before dinner. Some shots.
After this the wind picked up - lots of blowing sand. Drove around at night - mostly deserted street. Very few cars out and most of the homes are vacation spots so most were empty. Just had the blowing sand for company.
