Yes, I have done a Google search and it is interesting. The first thing I found was where I had entered a photo of Buddy, our Chihuahua, for a Humane Soceity calendar (he won "March" a year ago. Seems like our lives are becoming an open book to the world these days. I googled my husband and it brought up obituary notices where he had served as a pallbearer at three funerals.

I have been so elusive (purposefully) over the years that all I could find on me is my phone number, on one site. I have made sure to keep my SS number a fake one, except for the IRS and my employer, my addresses are just PO Boxes, and I have never joined any online groups that are searchable. I was very relieved to not find info on me! Many sites said I did not exist! YAYYY!

I DID find a lot of info on my father and his father, however, all of which was very noteworthy and wonderful to read. Old history of their jobs, and my grandfather has a patent on something he invented for airplanes way back when. I have saved all that I found for my family tree project. Thanks for the suggestion to try a search!

ummm, not so much for me, maybe 6 or 7 pages in there is a quote, from a tour I led for work, in a newspaper, apparently a classical violinist in Great Britain has my same name, and many, many goggle links, good for her and me.

Yep I've done that. There's some woman in NY that has the same name as I do but she is an author or something I forget now. I can find me but the info is out of date. ;)

Sometimes it's really scary when you stop to think and realize just how much info is out there to be had. Especially if your willing to pay a fee and join certain websites.

I googled my name and one came up from Wichita, KS on Facebook, and the other was several pages for an athletic director and all her accomplishments in high school before being the director of athletics for the junior Track and Field team.
