My Thanksgiving Day/Anniversary

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Fri Nov 27, 2009 12:21 am

Hello, gals.....Well, It's been an interesting, but a great day here in GA......We've had a "full house" here in the campground, so chatting on the computer has been an activity I haven't been able to do recently.....But I took extra time today to enjoy things and wanted to share with all of you....So here's my day in photos.... ;)

First thing this morning my "alarm clock puppy" woke me up for his morning walk.

Notice Spinner is winking....
While out with Mister Spinner I noticed how the sun was playing thru the GA pines and Live Oaks...

With the campers across the CG peeking thru...

The best shot of the morning with the trees..

Since today was our 33rd anniversary and Ernie's not a big fan of cake  I made him an apple pie instead.. ;)

Then around Noon we gathered the Military Retirees in the CG and went to the Dining Facility (Mess Hall) for Thanksgiving Dinner with the Troops..
Image
Everything was wonderful there....as you can see by the plates...they fed us all good....

When we returned, we had more RVs and tenting folks come in, so that kept us busy for quite awhile... To the point our RV sites are all full and about half the tent sites.... Wheww....alot of paper work and running around showing folks to their sites...
So about 8pm, after we put out the CLOSED sign, we ordered a Paid for View movie on the Satellite, cut and ate some of the apple pie, put the jammies on and settled down with my 2 guys..

It was great to relax and enjoy quiet time.... ;)

Needless to say I'm ready for sleep, but couldn't go to bed without sharing and wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving....

Oh goodness!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!

I think it's pretty nifty neat having an Anniversary on Thanksgiving. That's a wonderful thing to be Thankful for.

I think it's great to see a long running marriage. Use to love listening to Paul Harvey when he would do the Anniversary announcements. And was always amazed at them, 60 years, 70 years WOW!

Looks like a great day was had by all. Is that Ernie cuddling the dog he didn't want? I can see who's in charge in that family now.

Happy 33rd Anniversary and here's to 33 more! Isn't it wonderful to have someone to share your life with that enjoys the same lifestyle as you to be able to do things together wherever you may be! Thanks for sharing your pics, your day, your Ernie and your Spinner with us, lol.

Happy Anniversary and for reminding the rest of us why waking up early in the morning is a GOOD thing. The morning mists and early sun are beautiful.

Great pictures, great food, great company - what more could you ask for, eh?

Thanks for sharing. Was just thinking I'm gonna miss visiting you there this year! I can't think this far in advance, but am thinking about PA again for summer 2010. Too far away to really plan that - but it's niggling at my brain.

Take care, my friends - and I just love seeing Ernie and Spinner together.
