Ladies who Lunch in Tucson

Belle said it was a disgrace that she wasn't seeing much lately, so we took her to lunch. She complained all the way about the sticky residue from her Halloween costume. Guess who gets to clean that up?


The restaurant was opened in 1936. We ate on the Patio behind all those flowers.




Ooh, the dip was too hot for me, but I nibbled on the chips, along with a buddy of mine who flew in.




When the food came I waded right in, see me on the plate? Then Beth put on the timer and FLUNG herself down just in time.




There were three different rooms to eat in. Beth didn't even have a Margerita, so I don't know why they are blurry!

We had the lunch special, mini chimis and they were okay. But they had a big menu with 6 different kinds of soup, so when we go back, and we will, at some future point, we will try the regular menu. This is one city I will definately, GWATCDR, be back to. Okay, who knows what I just said?

Yes, ma'am, Chris - we'll be on the road tomorrow - not rushing our way- but imagine we'll be there in a couple days.

Oh, service at the restaurant was great, also. Yep, would go back, probably weekly, if living here.

And we just checked out a really nice place...not sure what you call them. They have lots of pre=fab homes, but also allow RV's. It was 418.00 a month, plus electric. But there was a library, pools, jacuzzi's, all kinds of activities. Beautifully landscaped, big lots, cactus, trees, flowers. No kids. We were impressed. Of all the places I've been in the last 4 years, Tucson has been the best as a place to settle down in the future...you know..when I'm OLD!
