Hey, when a Sistah is self-admittedly wallowing in depression, a Sistah's gotta do what a Sistah's gotta do to bring a smile to her face...

Then as Scottish(Gaelic) lost it's footing as the majority language of Scotland(geographically and 'de facto'), Scottish(Gaelic) speakers used the word to describe anyone who spoke any Anglian based language(i.e. the English language as spoken in England, Hiberno-English, Scoto-English/Lallans/('Scots') e.t.c) Nowadays, it has become common in Scoto-English/Lallans ('Scots'), and is used to refer to English people. Although not explicitly derogatory, some people (notably the English) consider it to be so.
Na Sassanaich! Sassanach! Ach, yet more Sassanaich settling in our country!

VickieP should change her screen name to VickieGoogle  and I think I'm part

Ava, do you want a definition of British? As I'm having trouble reconciling the part Scottish, part English, then also part British. Hahahaha. If you think that's bad - I'm English, Irish, Scottish, German, Bohemian and somewhere a dab of American indian - unfortunately that was "buried under" something, would say the rug, but what a terrible place to bury it - and we don't know which kind or anything more. Should get a DNA test and find out if it's true.

Loved the tour and all the twists this took.
Glad you're feeling better, Sparkle.
At least Mitch didn't offer you Irish Oats.
