Loved the pictures ladies. Thanks for sharing. I loved the peppers, they look so festive in those bunches. It looks like a really wonderful market. Linda

Knew I didn't stay in Tucson long enough - so much to see! Wonderful pictures, Sprackle. As for goat cheese, last summer I worked with a young chef at the lodge up in the mountains who used it with almost everything. Everyone raved about his omelets with goat cheese. I took one bite and spit it out. I love cheese, but that just tasted awful. Perhaps an acquired taste. Now I would definitely have bought the hottest salsa.

P.S. I LOVE dates! The date shop in Dateland, AZ (on I-8 toward California) makes the best date milkshakes.

Great pictures - looks like a neat place to visit. Is it every day or just one day a week?

Lotus, I've seen some of Beth's dates. No goat cheese on them....but whose to say?
Carol, this Market was held on Saturday and Sunday. But there are others during the week. We may try out the Thursday one if we are still here. Probably be the same venders. I ate salads all day yesterday, so fresh! I keep thinking, I should have bought those Wasabi Peas, and the new potatoes...

Farmer's Markets are wonderful. Here in Vancouver we have an awesome one right next to a pet friendly park, so always lots of furbabies to pet. I generally eat my way through them as there's always samples galore!
Thanks for sharing!
PS love dates, hate goat cheese (and I've tried many, many types/brands). As a kid I stayed overnight at a friend's house and she didn't tell me that the goats they owned also provided their milk and butter. When we sat down to dinner I took a big gulp of what I thought was a nice cold glass of cow's milk. Talk about wanting to hurl. Also the mashed potatoes were made with goats milk. No, thanks, I'll pass.
