Per Sparkle's request - some of my pics of the day - no commentary - just pics :













OK, commentary - a javalina - for those who don't know what they are. Sorry, couldn't get one close without a fence in the way:



























The following is the smallest of the hawks - someone was holding him outisde as we left. Only about 2 1/2 pounds!



And after we got back to our boondock location the following is the sunset we saw last night:



OK, some of the same Sparkle showed you - some she didn't - but she sat next to me and said' that one, and that one lolol. So here they are. I don't know all the birds I have here - know some of them. So you bird lovers, feel free to comment. Course, I know hummingbirds, but don't know the various types.

Love the hummingbird pics...had to search for some of them...they blend right in. Great spot to boondock, aaah.

of course there is a cardinal as one of the pictures was so surprised when I heard that there are some areas of the sw that have cardinals
think one is a dove

Hey , I could have a few of those critters.. yeppers.. they'd be happy too... LOL OH I love all those shots.. Yikes that Hummingbird is a big one... mmmmmm have to have a quart of syrup ready per day for that one LOL... I feel like I'm on a picture safari... Keep em coming..

Just another note - my pictures aren't better than Sparkle's - I just take 100 to her 25 cuz she thinks in advance hers aren't as good. Keep telling her she has to take lots of pics, and some will be better. I still have trouble with zooming in on the birds and the focus then. I'm no where near a professional - deleted lots of pics and still kept and show some blurry ones

and I'm so glad you got to see a Javalina, Beth. I honestly didn't know they
existed until I moved to Arizona and saw a dead one on the road at one of
the stops where I pick up kids. First I thought it was a big wirey haired dog,
then as I got closer, I thought it looked like a big hairy pig and called in to
get the carcuss picked up and thats what I called it...a big hairy dead pig!
I was told it was a javalina I've been on the hunt to get a good "in the
wild" picture ever since and when I see them, of course I don't have my
camera They can be dangerous, especially when they are in a family
group with youngsters.

Great photos!!! love the frogs.... I take 100s of photos....some bad...some good...but I have fun, too!!!
