Where's Liz? Another rough day...

Well, it could have been a rough day considering I got lost on the way to the marina and almost missed the boat! The rest of the day was just about perfect.


All aboard with my power squadron friends 3 boats left the Venetian Cove Marina in Leesburg, FL to cruise across Lake Harris to Mission Inn Resort for lunch. Come along?


Days like today remind me why Florida is a great place to be in the wintertime.

Once everyone is tied up at the dock, the dock-master radios for a bus to pick us up & take us to the restaurant. We wait here for just a few minutes.

Yummy buffet lunch…salmon with dill sauce was excellent.


After lunch we strolled the grounds… Courtyard

These geese know how to pick their wintering spot…don’t you think?
