Soos - Love your camper top - I'm partial to red vehicles, too. One time I camped next to a guy who had much the same setup you describe. He had a very large screen room attached to his tailgate opening. His truck bed was his bedroom and the larger screen room was a living room and kitchen with all his comforts. Cookstove outside, of course. Hope you can find a solution that is as comfy as his was. I believe his screen room had panels that tied down to enclose the room and I do believe he had a porta-potty setup in one corner with privacy drapes, but I didn't get to go inside to check it out!

That setup sounds just like my plans!

I am so excited to try it out! But winters are long here, and it will be a while! I know they make screen rooms that attach to my truck, but I think I will use a free-standing one so I can drive off to exlore wherever I might be. The truck will definitely be my bedroom----especially in bear country!

COOL.....you go girl 8-)

Instead of curtains, I would line the interior of those windows with "Limousine Black" (the darkest that you can find) stick on vinyl, purchase at WalMart or local auto store. I have it on camper, just the loft area, I can see out, but no one can see in. I love laying in bed and watching a sunrise or birds or trees.

Great idea, Chris! I will look for that stuff....and give it a try. I, too, love having all windows open to see daylight arrive. Of course, I could always remove the curtains when I put out my lights at night, too. The windows are quite darkly tinted as is. Limousine Black, eh? Will look for that, for sure!

Oh Soos, I love it ( my favorite color is RED too) What a snazzy looking set up you have. You'll have great times in that and seems you'll have everything you need too. I've seen several people who travel with such a set up, they have as great a time as anyone else. To bad we all have to wait to see pics of your adventures in it. Molly, looks right at home, setting up in it too.

Safe and Happy travels,
Carol
