Uuuum, Mitch, just a thought....who's your other friend?

Well, my very bestest friend in the entire world for almost 40 years died suddenly on January 3 this year. So, that leaves 2 best friends - Judy (we call her "Sparky" because she says a lot of blonde things...). Other's Phyllis from Illinois. Why?

Hey Mitch, I'm glad you have a pulse too! In birthday cards I always write to my really, really old and dear friends that's it's one of the best perks of getting old that we have friendships that have lasted 50 years and more. These dear people that have been with me through thick and thin are 'like the fingers on my hand'.

I no longer consider my friends by how long they've been friends - as some of my newer ones are just as vital to my being. (Gads, Sparkle is going to be reading this and getting a tear in her eye - and, in this case, yes, she should).

That said - I've made so many new friends here - that are equal to my friends from years and years ago - and often that are here for me quicker.

Please, tell your friends we want them to always keep their sense of humor!

Aaah, I can see my work here is done. My comment about who Mitch's other friend was...that was my evil plan to stir up trouble between Mitch and Vickie. It worked. I love it when a plan comes together.
