The pain keeps coming

Postby Gentleladybear » Sat Oct 31, 2009 4:15 pm

A lot of you know that I have been dealing with my daughter in law in the hospital for about 6 months now. She is now in rehab and beginning to be able to walk again. She is an answer to many prayers offered up on her behalf.

Then this morning I got a call from my sister in law in Ohio and they found my 50 year old niece dead this morning. She apparently died of a massive heart attack. She had just im'd me about a week ago and told me about her retiring and how excited she was. She had been an auditor for the State of Ohio. I drove to my sister's home here and told her about what had happened. We are both in shock.

Life is short, let those around you know you care.

So sorry to hear your tragic news, Nan. You are right, never let a moment pass when you can tell those you care about that they are loved.

Hugs to you!

Nan, we'll keep your family in our prayers for the loss of your niece and the continued healing for Deb. There are many things in life that we don't know or understand, except that prayers are powerful!

I'm so sorry, Nan. But it does point out we need to appreciate every moment we are given. And to appreciate those that are still with us.

Nan, I just peeked in before turning in and to read this news... I'm so, so sorry... What can we say... Lately it's been one shocker after another... Know that I'm praying for you and your family and if I can do anything..please just call.. We are not that far away... even if it's moral support..

Seems lately we've all had such sad news..Let's all keep the faith and keep each other close in pray and in our hearts...

God Bless

Oh, Nan. I'm so sorry for your loss. What a shocker. Your tragedy reminds me of my late DH,
who as excited as a little boy about his impending retirement. Never, ever thought he wouldn't be
around to enjoy it. Yes, this is a reminder to all of us that life turns on a dime, and that
we need to live today to the fullest.
