Yes, unfortunately the news was right! I got here to Albuquerque yesterday at 1pm and it started snowing like crazy at 2 for about an hour. Got about 1/2 inch on my steps and car, then it quit and by 3:30 it was all gone. Also unfortunately I needed propane and the guy wouldn't be back until 2, so I got to move Hope over to the tank in blowing wet snow. Cold wet snow!! Missed the snow coming over the pass, tho. I'm just trying to get home!!!! It's supposed to be clear today, but I'm waiting until about 10 to leave, it's been so cold that I'm leery of ice on the 40. I grew up here and I don't remember it ever getting this cold this early. Hopefully will be in Holbrook today to visit with my sis, and then Ehrenberg on Sat. for 3 days of heated pool, jacuzzi and schmoozing with my lifelong GF. Who was laughing her butt off at me freezing here in our home town while she was nice and toasty in Az!! She will pay for that!
The funny thing is, or not so funny, when I was driving thru those torrential rains to get to the GTG in Tn I told myself, well at least it's not snow! LOL!
