Hello, All....and Thank You!!

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Sat Oct 24, 2009 4:39 pm

Hello, All and Thank you for all your kind words, thoughts, and prayers.....The love and caring from all of you has helped me to keep functioning these last very difficult days....you are all my angels... ;)

Update on my sister, Barb.....she is home healing, both physically and mentally...both will take time....but she has the whole crew here to help.....My Mom is.....well, Mom....sometimes she's with us....sometimes she's not.....but we believe she comprehended the news.....I am staying at her house up the hill from the farm house, in the evenings.....we have assistance from the PA Dept. of Aging covering the day-time hours...this keeps her somewhat on her routine...and gives me time away and a much needed break.....My sister-in-law and the girls are doing okay....they also live with my Mom, so I am there for them at night too...we are all still a little numb, but we are all close, so are there for one another as needed...

This isn't going to be long, but did want to send my thanks.....I'm not up to writing much other than what I've already done....but when things settled down, I'm sure I'll be back as always....Thanks again, my forum sisters, and a special thanks to Barbzee for keeping all of you up to date....

Until later,
Lori

Lori, so good to hear from you.
I can understand how hard it is dealing with your Mom in this instance. My aunt is going through the same thing after the death of my uncle in August. It's sad....it's life.
Everyone grieves in their own time, in their own way. There is no right or wrong. Do whatever you need to do to get thru the days ahead and know we continue to lift you and your family up to the Lord.
Huge hugs!

Hugs galore heading to you from down here in Texas.

My prayer is that your family draw together in love and comfort each other in your time of grief and tragedy. Glad you have some help w/ your mom. I totally understand that, as I have both my parents in my care. They are 87, and it's a full time job! Last weekend we celebrated their 67th anniversary. I long for the day when I can join you gals on the road...but I empathize in the meantime, with you, as I know ya'll do w/ me!

love you!

I, too, have been thinking about you - almost all the time - and wishing I could be there to do anything - something - but since I can't - my thoughts and prayers are all I have - and I know you know .... well, you know. Love you g/f - and can't even imagine the pain you are feeling throughout all this - but I'm glad that there's some solace from those of us here.
