Just a little update..for those that might inquire... Court was postponed..!!!! Yeppers, 1 hour before time and family dealing with anxieties
the phone rang and given the news... Postponed till March.. The creep hired a "high priced lawyer" sooooooo he has to do his homework before trial...

It was a very bad day as Oct 13th was the first day Ange was reported missing..so needless to say.. it was not a good day !

As for me.. took hubby to airport and returned home to the empty nest syndrom...even the critters were looking down..so we partied...yeppers we and a little bit of this and a little bit of that...Even baked a Chocolate Cherry cake..now I ask you.. What's better than chocolate and cherries when you is down...

Today I'm taking it easy as it's still rather warm ..our sprinkle of rain drops didn't really cool things down...but I hear more coolness is on the way..

My birds are flying in.. Chick a dees..Tuffeted Titmouse and Cardinals..and I'm enjoying watching them attack the seeds..even devised a bird house that's full proof of squirrels...I'm gonna take pictures so you all can check this number out..but it's funny watching them little critters (squirrels) attempt to try and get to all that goodies..

Ok, it's lean back and relax time for me.. and hope you all do the same...and thank you for all your prayers for my family

I'm trying to get ready to go camping this weekend. Need to load up the rv and it won't quit raining! LOL. Sound like a fun weekend to you? Rain, 2 kids, 2 dogs. 2 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of kahlua! WE are doing things in 2's this weekend. HOpefully it will clear up enough on Saturday for the girls to go trick or treating and ride in the hay wagon, etc. I've got to remind Olivia to bring along several movies...just in case. Well, being in the RV for the weekend is better by far than being stuck in the house and working my butt off...

sorry about the postponement, but on a side note, you do sound a little
more chipper, didn't you have some BIG bird that would hang out at your place?
A hawk or something like that, remember seeing a picture of it perched on
top of someones car. Did that bird come back?

Thanks everyone... and Vickie.. gulp... I can not tell a lie..(well maybe just a little one ).. the cake is still lookin at me.. LOL and I have this desire to devour that sucker...as you all remember I lost 17 lbs...from being ill..soooooooooooo nah yeah nah..what the hey... come on over and down and share some with me...boy it's a gooder... I'll have to post the recipe too..it's like simple and did I say... goooooooooooooooooood !!!..

Ava... Charlie.. you're talkin about.. yeah he swings by and sits on my car.. in fact when I pulled in with the rig.. he perched right on top..I think he's adopted me...LOL

Liz, ya have to see this.. it's really a simple pole with a fishing line hung and bird house attached...it swings LOL... but those little birds love it.. I have one stubborn squirrel who keeps lookin up in fact did a leap and I thought oh no you don't...LOL close..

Cedar.. I'm back stroking right now... trying to keep everyone together...telling them all my crazy adventures...and of course nothing wrong with a little hyperbole..LOL...did my nose grow ??????

I'm on a search for a camera..mine is done..finished kaput !!!..and yep, it's a visit to Wally world..now I have to ask.. What's the best and easiest camera to purchase..one that will do stills and video... I'm all eyes and ears...HELP>..

Ok.. Critters are giving me the eye..sooo now I'll drag my butt up and out then fall out...

Camera...........
I bought one of the cheapest ones Walmart had, GE A735, 7.0 megapixal
and it does video as well as zoom. Uses batteries, which can get expensive
when you do a lot of pictures but someday I'll have one of those chargers.
It did not come with a memory card so I had to purchase that as well.
Can't remember what I paid, but it was a cheapie.

Zeee, I know about the buildup of nerves before court ... and right around the anniversary of poor Angie's disappearance. Tough stuff. I just made it through my anniversary, and five years later it still hurts. Unfortunately, this court stuff is the gift that keeps on giving. About the time the wound starts to heal a court date will rip the scab off. Take care of yourself ... you'll get through it. In some ways, the court stuff was less unsettling for me than other family members because I used to cover trials & such for the local newspaper and knew what to expect. Just know continuances and other delays happen all the time ... it's part of the deal. Doesn't mean it won't make you want to turn the air blue.

And if I'd known you were baking a cake I'd have shown up with my own dish ... and a gallon of Tin Roof ice cream. I know how to party, too!

OMG! And they wonder why people become vigilantes! I know 'justice' has to run it's course but I think the court system is F'd (please excuse my language) up! Grrrr Ya just want to scream in frustration. Will keep Ang's family and ya'll in my prayers.

Boy you sound like a happier camper tho!!! Being in FL must be good for ya even if Robert did have to go back north. Ya know? Maybe Kelly and I will come and throw up our tents in your back yard and camp out. We did want to be south for the winter after all? Maybe you had better save a couple of pieces of that chocolate/cherry cake for us!!!

As to the squirrels? Give it a day or two maybe Charlie will convince them to hunt elsewhere! hehehehe He would probably enjoy a fresh squirrel dinner? And he doesn't even need it BBQ'd either.

Been thinking of ya a lot lately. Miss yakking with ya.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! WooHoo! Mine is coming soon, bleh!!! Don't really want to even think of it.

Been trying to keep in touch with David as Jenny is due by the end of the month. Doc is talking about inducing? Hmmmm? First babies are suppose to be late not induced early. Everyone is in such a hurry now days that even the Docs are trying to jump the gun. I don't know if I'm ready to be a gramma? It will probably remind me way to much that I'm not getting any younger. And I already have lots of reminders that I'm getting OLD!!!

Ok enough playing. Got to call the bank and get home to work. ~sigh~
