Thank you for all the great birthday wishes. They worked; it was a blissfully quite day and a friend took me out for a Chinese dinner. While cold, the sun stayed out for me the entire day - always a good lift for my spirits.
I should say they mostly worked. On my way home from TN gtg, I bought a lottery ticket for the drawing on 17th as that was as close as I could get to my birthday. Unfortunately it was not a winer. Oh well, can't have it all.
