Without looking (and I'm not in my rig) I don't know my brand. Small, cheap one from Walmart - works great - heats my entire rig on the coldest nights when I use it. I had a ceramic that died - replaced with this - if this dies, will get another just like it. It does have some type of tipover for it that happens, also. I think I spent all of about $14 and it's going on a couple years of use already. Love it.

Thanks for the ideas and the link. I have the Honeywell HZ2200 and I DON'T recommend it.
Does not keep my rig warm enough.

Love it! I was just going to recommend the Honeywell because it does a great job of heating this entire 23 foot rig. In fact, I can probably count on my fingers the times I've actually used the propane furnace, usually in the middle of winter here in Kansas 18 degree temperatures. But, 23 feet is a lot smaller than 35 feet. Did look at oil heaters during a trip to Wal-Mart this morning, but decided they were just too big and heavy. So, will stick with the Honeywell.

I was just on Amazon.com reading the reviews on the Honeywell. Most all agree that it's best for small spaces. Two had their units melt on them. I find that scary.
Beth, I'd be interested in the brand you have when you get a chance to post it.

we also have a fireplace that we hook up to propane it is more efficient than the furnace. We use that a lot

We use the "cube" little heater, does fine for me or just run the furnace

I have this little Delonghi (sp?) heater from Wally World. Being that I have a very efficient and effective Built-In Menopausal Furnace, I don't need it. However, when traveling in the cold with sissies, this is the one we use. It does a fine job on my little trailer...has a thermostat, remote, timer, and it oscillates.

I forgot to put something near to show scale, but I figure it's about 12"-14" high and weighs no more than 3 pounds.

I did read that the oil heaters do not dry out the air. I think that would be a great plus.

I have a small electric heater....made by Stanley...from Walmart. Doesn't take much to warm up the smaller unit. And when it gets down in the teens...good luck warming up the unit with anything!

I use a little one probably like Beth's - cost around $15. I will put it on the floor between couch and dinette when I'm eating, watching TV etc. Once I got to bed I shut the door between the Bed/bath area and rest of rig then set it on top of the plastic trash can I use for dog food so I can feel the heat. In TX, only used it a couple of times, mostly early in am to take chill off. Coming home in April, spent 2 nights in MO and it was windy and chilly and it did okay job heating up whole rig during the day.

I have a small "cube" style electric heater. It has a thermostat, tip-over shutoff. The brand is Maxi-heat. It does a great job at heating.
