Spinner and His Friend, Guiness

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 9:14 pm

Our friends have a 1 year old Labadoodle named Guiness.....He's a BIG Teddy Bear of a pup....Spinner and he have been playing and sharing....we all laughed when, Spinner, the older, preceeded to put Guiness in his place tonight when he didn't want to play....1 little growl and Guiness laid down and waited for Spinner to make the first move to play...they get along great.....too bad Guiness and his mommy & daddy are leaving in the morning....

Here's a pic of Spinner & Guiness after play time yesterday....

Fleas are under control with Front-line....and Spinner is adjusting nicely.....he can bark..... other campers were walking their big guys tonight and Spinner didn't see them coming around the corner....so when he saw them, he wanted to get them....guess he got scared....he kinda' met the younger one, but didn't like the older one.....we're a little concerned, but think he was protecting us....so we'll have to see if it happens again....

Ernie and Spinner walked about 4 miles today, even in the rain.. They are great buddies....

Ernie will certainly get his exercise with Spinner. Guiness is a cutie and Spinner is
going to miss him.

Glad you're enjoying Spinner. Looks like they wore themselves out playing.

I think it's all going to work out fine. He's one lucky dog and I know he and Ernie will have many walking adventures to share. :D

Lori, what cuties. Just the way I like puppies and babies, ASLEEP!   It sounds like you guys made the right decision getting Spinner. Linda

Lori, I also think Spinner got scared the other night. It has happened to me and Sandy a few times. She normally does not bark when out on a walk except when startled. The more Spinner gets use to the walks and environment, he'll adjust just fine. Linda
