I am raising my GD (almost 11) and I have to tell you ladies, this one scares the bejeebers outta me! This one is taking babies from us and that just isn't right! As soon as they get the vaccine here, I'm going to make sure she gets it!

My prayers go the the parents for the loss of their daughter. How devastating that can be! I've not lost a child, although we did loose my nephew when he was just 16 and that was sooooo hard to face. Time does heal the wounds.

One of the problems with the H1N1 flu is that it is necessary to wear a Respirator type mask (N95) When in contact with a person or persons with the flu. Handwashing is GREAT BUT it is "droplet precautions" needed. My hospital is implementing masks for anyone suspected of the flu and also the nurses must wear them when in contact with that patient. We are also swabbing anyone with fever, cough and flu like symptoms. It is scary stuff.
