Busy October Days

Just thought I show you some of what we've done to Jennie since we've been home. She got her solar panels installed

And I made some curtains to cover the little windows where the bunk used to be. Just to keep the light out of our eyes.

Used more of the flamingo material on them.
Some of our four footed friends out back

He's a loner

Looking out back off the deck

Another shot different angle

Then just some pictures of the area - looks like we might have a nice "colors" season.
Going into town

Just a nice scene going into Columbus

Bill's favorite tree

At least today it isn't raining - tomorrow is supposed to be nice too. The little town is full of tourists - can't even drive through it. Takes 30 minutes to go three blocks. Everyday the trees get prettier.

Things are looking about the same here,.... leaves are colored, but falling off the trees. I don't think they got as brilliant as other years. My maple in front of the deck went from green to yellow to almost bare in just a few days.

Nice pictures...I like your flamingo curtains. That is such a neat town, but I imagine the traffic must be frustrating for locals.

Carol, I was telling Ernie this morning about all the "re-modeling" you 2 have been doing.....and showed him the pics....His comment was..."do ya' think we could stop and visit with them next fall on our way back from Wyoming? I need to confer with Bill on the 5er."  So don't be surprised if we call.... ;)

Lori - love to have you stop by - we've got that great big driveway and electric and water. Bill love to build and adjust things. In fact a friend is coming by today and bring a couple of doors he needs cut down.
Janet - we live in Nashville but not Tennessee - we're in South Central Indiana. Just a teeny tiny town of 900.
The curtains match the privacy curtain I made for the front window. Still have some of the flamingo material left but haven't decided what to do with it yet.

Love the pictures Carol, especially the one with all the deer, hey, maybe your
prospective buyer will be a hunter, he won't have to go far to put meat in the
freezer.

Ava....had to chuckle when I read your post...last year after spending every morning (very early) for a week straight in a freezing cold deer stand with her husband, my best friend shot her five-point buck from their deck wearing her pajamas! We threatened to turn her into GF&P because she wasn't wearing anything orange. Her birthday is the end of this month and we've been looking for a pair of orange pajamas for her.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Fabulous photos...this year we didn't get fall color -- the leaves just froze and started falling!
