Ahhhh, thanks for the memories,.... I was at ET's Record Shop back in '61 .. Some of the performers used to go there after they came off the stage and would do jam sessions. Glad to see you all having such a great time!

I am so so sad!! The Tn GTG is over! Dang! We had such an awesome time! I'm tucked in at Countryside RV Park in Lebanon, Tn. Carolyn came by this morning and told me a horrible storm was coming in about 1, so I called here and they let me come in early, so I'm all snug and hopefully safe here. I'm worried about the rest of the gals on the road, been watching the weather station and it looks bad. Specially worried about Vickie and Ron, they're driving right in to it. I've finally got satelite tv and really really slow wifi, but it's better than I had at 7 Points, which was zilch!

This was one of the best GTG's I've been to. As someone said, all of the gals are as smart, funny, savvy and awesome as they sound when they post! How do I 'splain it? There is just something about us rv'ing women that's extra special and there's that special thread that connects all of us. We talked, laughed, ate, cried and just had a great time. Don't know any other way to say it.

Carolyn, Carol, Tina and I had the best tour last nite courtesy of Carolyn. What fun we had! We saw most of the high lights of Nashville, went in most of the famous bars, listened to great music and even gave Carol and Tina an education in Coyote Ugly! Don't think those two had ever seen anything like that before and Carolyn had just as much fun watching the look on their faces as watching the action on the bar! No, that wasn't a typo, the action is ON the bar not at it! LOL! I didn't take a lot of pictures, but Carolyn is going to send me some that she took on our night out clubbing and I'll post them when I can.

I think the only person that worked harder than Mitch was Vickie.....whew! those two made me tired just watching them! They're both a couple of characters and it was a kick just listening to them! and watching!

I'm going to be here for a couple or three days so I can do some sightseeing in Nashville and then start heading to Fayettville, Arkansas, so I'll check in as I can. Say a prayer for our sisters on the road today. I am sooo sick and tired of driving in the rain and wind, but at least I'm sitting still for this one.

I got moved to another site so I can stay at 7 points for a couple more days to "sort". Sharon, you will be happy to know that I took a load to Goodwill this morning and I'm sure there will be more. I'm keeping your advise on my shoulder so you can keep whispering in my ear.

Tina had some battery problems this morning but I was able to give some assist. I took out my trusty jump box and it worked!! Got her started but I'm not sure what her plans were after that. I know that Carol was wanting to go down the Natchez Trace Pkwy and Tina was going along but I'm sure she will post when she can.

Whe I returned from getting a new back up light, I passed Ronnie and Vickie as they were leaving around noon. I believe they were headed to Lynchburg TN to check out the Jack Daniels distillery.

It was a great GTG, great bunch of ladies. I'm pleased to be included as part of our group on the forum and in the country.

..

Well, I am very sad to say - IT'S OVER! Boo-Hoo!

What a bunch of marvelous women...there really aren't enough words to describe the diversity of this group and the wonderful time I had. It couldn't have been better, except maybe a bit nicer weather. I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet these incredible ladies and their 4-legged babies - thanks for a forever memory.

And believe it or not, what Vickie wrote about me above (winky, winky) could have been written by me about her!!! She's an incredible human being.

Here are a few of my pics...

Thank you thank you to everyone.....for the laughter and the good food! I am so glad I made it down. Thank you to Caroline for her tour of Nashville and again for her battery start this morning. I drove on in to a Meineke shop long enough to park in their lot and turn the engine off....it started right up! ...so I just drove on.. All day getting gas, pottying puppies....no problem. Doesn't mean that it will start tomorrow morning but I have phone service so it will be a Coach Net call if need be. Kevin from the RV shop in Celina called me back but we really don't know what is happening.....I had a cut off switch put on my chevy engine battery so that it would not be drained when parked longer than one day. Usually after three days I would have to start the engine with the auxcillary battery. Well, when I arrived at the camp ground on Tuesday I disconnected the battery (it was the first time I had tried it). Friday when I switched the battery back on....I got nothing...only clicks. WHen I tried to start with the auxcillary battery ...I got only clicks, but I had head lights and radio and dash lights? Caroline's starter did the trick instantly so.... don't know what the issue is, just know I am not using that disconnect switch again until I get somewhere with mechanic to figure it out!

But, hey since it decided to start, I followed Carol on over to the Natchez Trace and we are both parked at the Merriweather Campground. Some festival is set up for tomorrow! We drove through a lot of wind and got the heavy rain right at the end but it looks like the worst of the weather went on east of us. We will have damp puppies though after potty walks.

Hope everyone got home safely or on to their next campground and are all tucked in for the evening. Sleep well sisters!

Wow, what a lucky bunch of ladies to have experienced each other for those few days. I know the rest of us are wishing we could have joined in, too. Thanks for sharing the pictures! Mitch, I checked out the ones on your blog and they are wonderful!
Stay safe, looks like some pretty awful weather around your areas. Keep checking in and we'll keep you all in prayer!
Hugs!

I had a great time too although my visit was rather short. Yes, Mitch and Vickie are quite a team and awesomely organized. It was so good to meet everyone and their little ones.I've watched Sharon's Chewy and TIna's Izzy grow up on line!. Wish I could have been there for the Thursday night downtown adventure.
Thanks again for all the great times and hospitality!
