TN GTG??

Hidy Ho, neighbors! It was beautiful today. I love my site. No pictures to post. You see, I can't find my battery charger, therefore, cannot take those wonderful shots. Mitch doesn't like for her pix to be made, now let's see who that reminds us of? Could it be sparkly and wear a crazy looking hat?

Anyway, our furbabies are precious and a wide range of puppies. Fernie & Bash showed up at the "boo-fay." So there were about 11 of us there. Yee haw! BJ came rolling in right before dinner and only stayed a couple of hours, I'm sure we will see her at the brunch boo-fay in the a.m.

Cedar, get ready w/the collection of those "funds" 'cause we will be heading downtown tomorrow night. Nashville will never be the same.

We're having a great time here in TN! The weather was good, sunshine all day, a little cool for some and just right for others. We started out the morning/noonish gathering at Mitch's site. Carolyn/Sunshinecruiser is presenting Sharon with a gift bags that she and Becky/Lotus had contributed/put together for each of us. Thanks ladies!

Here Mitch and Carolyn/Sunshinecruiser are opening up the champagne for our Carolyn Cooler drinks!

While we were visiting, Ronnie was checking out the water. We had a beautiful view!

Later this evening, we gathered at my site for the Boo-Fay.
BJ/Redetotry got her gift bag and was visiting with Sarah/BluePineCones.

Fernie and Bash joined us too! Here they are with Carolyn/SunshineCruiser.

Margie/MsBHaven showed up with her flamingos flyin, lol.

Oh and we had food as well, lots of it from appetizers, fresh fruit and vegies, pasta salads, soup,
gumbo, spaghetti, meatloaf, cakes, candy, just about anything and everything you could want!

After eating, we sat around visiting and enjoying the campfire.

I was pretty sure I DID hear some laughter outside yesterday afternoon as Molly and I were trying to get in our walk before the rains came again! I sure do wish I could be there to share the campfires and dinners and laughter with you all! And we are all patiently waiting for more pictures and descriptions that we are trying to picture in our minds!

Thanks for what you have been able to share with us all so far! It sure does look like a fun time!

I'm not a PhotoBucket fan, but you can see some of my photos on my blog (see link below). I need to get a video made and posted! Wish I had thought of that the many times that Vicki and Mitch go at each other! Trust me, they are as "bad" in person (maybe worse) as they are here on the Forum! They are certainly a good match for each other - assuming they don't kill each other. A couple of things come to mind - Vicki attempting to stick Mitch in the butt with a marshmellow fork and earlier in the evening Vicki said she was going to hit Mitch over the head with her beer bottle - but not until after she drank the beer out of it!

And Becky, no, Mitch isn't ill. She attempts to avoid the camera (it hasn't worked though). She's has so much energy that she never sits still long enough to get in many photos. She has the tiniest RV here, but has managed to have tons of food, drink and camping stuff with her. In just minutes she has charcoal lit, coals made, and food cooked in a pot with coals under and on top of the pot - it's amazing. I guess being anal and organized is a good thing - she has lists of everything in her RV and where each item is located. She had her menu prepared for each meal and a list of everything each meal required. Oh, I just had a great idea - next year the TN GTG is at Mitch's house so she won't have to haul so much stuff to the campground (sorry, Mitch, only kidding...sort of).

This has been a great GTG with a great group of RV Women - wish the rest of you could have been here!

Hope to get more photos today of more pets that I missed yesterday.

Looks like all is going well there......I can donate $5.00 to the bail fund, Cedar... Great to see photos of Fernie & Bash...I sure do miss them.....Lots of food.....We figured at the PA GTG that we all eat about every 2 1/2 hours at these GTGs.... Don't want to waste anything... Have fun on your "touring".....Now, what I want to know is "What's in them there Goody Bags?".....

Oh, it is soo good to see another group of wonderful ladies sharing and enjoying and having a good time! We are all there with you in spirit for sure and wish we could really BE there!

Cedar, I can contribute to the "Bail Fund" but will require lots of good "evidence" (photos) before I'll send a dime!

Thanks gals, it looks like the bail fund may be up to about $10! Doubt that will be enough to get anyone out of jail so you all please do behave, ok? I checked out Margie's blog, lots of good pics there, too. Don't forget a group shot will everyone's names ... and for those of us not there please indicate their username so we can figure out who is who! Really wish I was with you!

Looks like everyone is having a good time and the pictures are wonderful. If I need to contribute to bail a sister out...count me in for a couple of dollars...it is good that all are having a great time.

Here are a few more photos from the first day when Mitch broke out the Carolyn's Coolers. You will also notice that Mitch is getting after Vicki with her butcher knife. Sharp instruments should be kept away from these two girls. We have had a great time. Oh, I can't wait for the next gtg.
Sara (bluepinecones), Carol (carolinagal) and Tina laughing it up. We have had a lot of endorphines flowing by laughing and having a blast.
Mitch was trying to be camera "shy." Didn't work for long.
Other than us, here is a shot of the local wildlife.
Mitch gave me nightmares thinking the "slasher" was in the park.

Mitch took her job of hostess very seriously. Aren't these cute?

Tonight, four of us are headed downtown to do the honky tonk scene. More later...

Well, I just have to tell you all - I LOVE MICHELLE (mitch5252). She is one of the nicest, most adorable people I ever met!!! I wish I lived closer to her and she would be my BFF!!! I really, really like her.

I am so sorry I didn't know her for all the previous years of my life...oh, what I have missed!
