Headed home & New members

Well, my summer is officially over. If it stops raining long enough I'll hitch my car and head out tomorrow morning for Texas. Hope some of you come by to visit the Hill Country or join us in Gallup the first weekend of December fo rthe balloon festival.

I've done my part this summer - have presented Flamingo wineglasses to four ladies: Diane, Cathy, Carol, Marlene and Sherry. Below are pictures of the "official" presentation to our newest members, Marlene (Cheeriogirl) and Sherry (bargirl). Now having made a complete fool of myself more than once I'll put the Flamingo headgear and glasses away and head for home.

The armed forces called, they want your help recruiting, LOL. Great Job! One day I'm gonna get my glass, I love Kerville area, do they still have that mexican restaurant right across from the football stadium? We pulled in there one day, drove up to the drive thru and they opened the window,, not a drive thru window, a regular house window and took our order, LOL. Best dang mexican food!

Those glasses are priceless! Would love to wear some to Amazon to liven the place up a little. I'll be passing through the northern part of Texas the end of December on the way to California and WARMTH!

Margie, don't feel left out. The whole Flamingo wineglass thing started with the Nov 2009 GTG here in Kerrville. Guess you'll just have to come visit me again to get your wineglass.
